I’m Kim Jackson, Chef and Co-Owner of We Be Grubbin’. It has taken several years for me to get comfortable with the title, Chef. In my mind a chef not only has an encyclopedic knowledge of recipes, ingredients and techniques but most important, a chef has a unique culinary perspective. It is their contribution to the broader food conversation, it is the accumulation of their cultural and culinary experiences, a reflection of their values and beliefs, it is the reason why any chef cooks. Culinary perspective can be hard to define but you know it when you see it.
The whole point of this blog it to share why we do, what we do, the way we do it at We Be Grubbin’. I’ll be sharing stories, recipes, shopping tips and restaurant recommendations all to help you get your grub on.
